AELLO a magnificent teak 1921 gaff rig schooner and she is the last large remaining yacht built by the famous German naval architect and shipbuilder Max Oertz, who also built the imperial schooners ‘Germania’ and Meteor IV’ for German Kaiser Wilhelm II. In her long history ‘Aello’ has sailed around the world, from Singapore in the 1930’s to Florida and St Tropez in recent years. She has taken part and won many International regattas. Her present owners have undertaken an extensive refit and up dating over the last few years whilst always honouring her true classic pedigree.
